The Start Early Affiliates Board and its committees meet quarterly to advance the board’s goals: to introduce a new generation of supporters to Start Early and to benefit high-quality programs through engagement and fundraising opportunities.
Affiliates Board members:
- Support the Start Early’s work and programs by hosting and attending fundraising events, donation drives, educational opportunities and recruitment events
- Raise awareness of Start Early’s mission — to advance quality early learning for families with children, before birth through their earliest years, to close the opportunity gap — among their personal and professional networks
- Learn about and advocate for Start Early’s early childhood education programs, solutions and policy initiatives
Member responsibilities include:
- Minimum of one-year membership commitment
- Attend and participate in quarterly board and sub-committee meetings
- Attend and participate in the planning and execution of the Affiliate’s Board annual signature cocktail event and other Affiliates Board-sponsored activities
- Annual member gift of $150
