Andrea “Andie” Mackin leads Start Early Washington’s Development and Communications efforts across Washington state.

With a passion for creating brighter futures for children and families, her experience spans philanthropy, community engagement and social impact, and includes leadership roles with Special Olympics USA Games, United Way Worldwide, and early learning organizations. A fan of “on-the-job training,” Andie credits her four grown children with teaching her that parenting is the toughest job you will ever love.
