Annaliese Newmeyer, M.Ed., has been an early childhood teacher for 16 years. Originally from Ohio, Annaliese moved to Chicago to pursue a teaching license and Master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 2010. She has worked all over the city and currently teaches at Educare Chicago, a program of Start Early, in their Head Start program. She enjoys teaching children how to garden, problem solving social issues, helping children learn how to discover the world around them, and learning side-by-side with her students.
