Caroline Kohler is a senior manager at Start Early who works primarily on advancing the strategic direction of the National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (NCPFCE). Since joining Start Early, Caroline has also held roles on the content and continuous quality improvement teams at the NCPFCE, as well as the National Policy Team where she primarily supported the policy and advocacy work of the Educare Learning Network.
Prior to her time at Start Early, Caroline was a fellow in the Governor of Illinois’ Office working on workforce development in the K-12 and higher education sector. Caroline also has experience in the classroom, serving as a first grade teacher for two years though Teach for America in the Oklahoma City Public schools. Caroline holds a master’s degree in public policy with an emphasis in education policy from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College.
