Katie Fisher is a senior manager on the Start Early Consulting team, providing consultation to early childhood public sector leaders and advocates in diverse states and communities such as Colorado, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas. Katie works on a diverse portfolio of projects, including early childhood systems mapping and strategic planning, engaging families and providers in designing and improving early childhood systems and supporting policy and advocacy focused on young children with disabilities and developmental delays.
With a background in education, including working as a bilingual teacher and a preschool comprehensive services coordinator in Chicago Public Schools, Katie brings a blend of policy insight and classroom experience to her consulting work. Katie holds a B.A. and master’s degree in public policy from the University of Virginia as well as a master’s degree in teaching from Dominican University. Katie lives in Chicago with her husband and daughter, Lucia.
