Liv Woodstrom

Start Early Washington Director of Programs

Liv leads Start Early Washington’s statewide efforts to create a strong Home Visiting network in partnership with systems and funders. Liv brings over 17 years’ experience focusing on supports for children and families, including experience as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist with Children’s Hospital providing supports to children and families in a clinical setting, managing an early literacy program, and working with early childhood systems and funding partners across Washington state. Her work at the state level has focused on supporting early childhood initiatives, and expansion and integration of home-based services. Liv spent several years supporting community planning to determine where there are gaps in services, how to build a coordinated referral network, and support starting-up of new services that are prioritized locally. Liv is the mother of two inquisitive and lively children under age five and knows the value of individual expression when it comes to raising confident and eager young learners.
