As a director on the Start Early Consulting team, Rebecca Klein provides consultation to public sector leaders and advocates to ensure early childhood systems are high-quality, equitable and inclusive. With experience with states such as Illinois, Colorado, and Texas, Rebecca specializes in system mapping, strategic planning, and policy development – in partnership with families and early childhood professionals. Rebecca brings subject matter expertise in organizing programs and systems for effective implementation and improvement, and a range of policy areas such as child care assistance, workforce development, and inclusion.

Rebecca has worked in early childhood her whole career. She has designed numerous tools and professional learning programs for teachers, leaders, and family support professionals. She has taught in and led child care, Early Head Start, Head Start and home visiting programs. Rebecca holds a master’s degree in child development from the Erikson Institute. Rebecca calls Chicago, Illinois home.
