Driven by a passion to help all children live joyful lives, Sara Nadig oversees the development division in securing revenue from private sector sources—foundations, corporations and individual donors. Sara joined Start Early in 2007 and has been fortunate to support the organization’s fundraising efforts to garner support for early learning by engaging the private sector in our mission of closing the opportunity gap for our youngest learners.

Prior to Start Early, Sara was an early childhood educator and advocate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in child development from Tufts University and a master’s degree in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Outside of work, Sara—and her husband and 2 boys—try to take full advantage of living in Chicago, especially during summertime.
