Early/Head Start Network

In 1985, Start Early launched the Early/Head Start Network to provide early learning services to young children and their families living in under-resourced communities in Chicago.

As a federal Head Start grantee, Start Early convenes its partner agencies in a network designed to continually improve our practice. Each community-based agency brings its own local relationships, unique perspectives and strategies to strengthen the early childhood field.

Start Early partners with the following community-based agencies to deliver quality early learning and care to more than 1,400 children and families across Illinois.
